The second point gives a layman language and becomes an instruction to start from the first day itself. Hence the time can be spent for the discussion of physiological changes at internal organs, contra indications, and history of asana. This is the way found easy to deliver the yoga anatomy subject for the intense programs. As the student advances to 4th week, they will be full knowledge of all techniques than just muscles names, their origin, insertion, nerve supply, etc.

Warrior Pose-2

The need of muscle names has come for understanding the situations like sports, injuries and surgeries. The same names can be learned as per the surfaces of the body like front muscles called as Flexors, back muscles called as extensors, outside muscles as abductors, inner muscles called as adductors, diagonal muscles for inward rotation are called as internal rotators and the opposite are external rotators. This basic knowledge is enough to understand the muscles and movements for other situations of life.

Human as a intellectual and movement being has the ability to adjust to the environment. From the birth, the movement will be independent according to the gravity. Learning different activities of the day did not give priority for knowing the names of the muscles. Its totally the mind and awareness to write on the slate, to learn bicycling, swimming, etc., For attracting the world with the difficult knowledge, people started connecting the muscle names to the different practices just as sports like asana practice, gym, gymnastics, dance etc., Here the necessity does not matter, because of the frequent changing of movements.

Intense program like 200 hour yoga teacher training course (YTTC) for 28 days which has to fit into the given hours by Yoga alliance should be matched. The simplification of modern science should not skip the fundamental goal of connecting the physiology and yoga techniques. Muscle names are relevant to the physical body which are not required to understand the relaxation and meditation techniques.
